I am pleased to announce NNCP 8.7.0 release availability!

NNCP (Node to Node copy) is a collection of utilities simplifying
secure store-and-forward files and mail exchanging.

This utilities are intended to help build up small size (dozens of
nodes) ad-hoc friend-to-friend (F2F) statically routed darknet
delay-tolerant networks for fire-and-forget secure reliable files, file
requests, Internet mail and commands transmission. All packets are
integrity checked, end-to-end encrypted (E2EE), explicitly authenticated
by known participants public keys. Onion encryption is applied to
relayed packets. Each node acts both as a client and server, can use
push and poll behaviour model. Also there is multicasting areas support.

Out-of-box offline sneakernet/floppynet, dead drops, sequential and
append-only CD-ROM/tape storages, air-gapped computers support. But
online TCP daemon with full-duplex resumable data transmission exists.

The main improvements for that release are:

* "nncp-ack" does not acknowledge ACK-packets, preventing an endless
  loop of ACKs.

* "nncp-ack" previously did not remove corresponding "hdr/" files.

* "nncp-rm" now takes list of packet from "stdin" when "-pkt" option
  is used.

* "nncp-ack" now generates list of ACK packets it created, that could
  be used as an input to "nncp-rm" to remove outbound ACK packets.

Thanks for the new release! I found a small problem with the build
scripts not honoring PATH. I'm running Slackware 15, so /usr/bin/go is
gccgo, with Google Go (required to build for some reason) being in
/usr/lib64/go1.17.7/go/bin/go. Setting an environment variable fixed
it, so it might be worth adding to the build script itself.

$ redo all <== fails with gccgo
$ GO=$(which go) redo all <== succeeds with Google go

Greetings!

I can not reproduce that issue.
I tried goredo and contrib/do as a redo implementation:

    $ cat > foo.do <<EOF
    echo "$PATH"
    which go
    EOF
    $ redo foo
    $ cat foo
    PATH is here, go's placement is expected

It should be respected anyway, if redo implementation does not clean it.
